Michael Brannagan has over 29 years of experience in the television industry, many of those years as Executive Producer/Producer, CBC sports.
Michael has been nominated for 13 Gemini Awards and won 2 for Excellence in Television Sports Production. He is schooled in various other capacities, such as news and entertainment.
Michael has worked on 9 Olympic games as a Producer/Senior Producer, the latest of which was the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. Michael has been contracted to continue his role as Senior coordinating producer for the CTV Olympic Consortium for London 2012 Olympic Summer Games.
As Executive Producer of CBC Sports, Michael’s responsibilities encompassed creative and financial management of CFL Football, Curling, Figure Skating, Baseball and Sports Saturday. Michael was also responsible for brand management and supervision of large budgets for many projects with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
For much of her life, Helen's passion has been soccer. She competed at the highest level as a member of the Canadian Women's National Soccer Team for 8 years. She holds the distinction of being the first Canadian to have ever scored a goal in a World Cup Final and has since been named to the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame.
Following her career as a player, she continued on as commentator Women’s soccer on Rogers Sportsnet and CBC, and also as a television host and producer. She has worked on 4 different TV series with over 200 episodes as a host/producer.
She began her association with Gleam Media in 2006 as a writer/producer/editor and worked with the Canadian Olympic Committee in 2010 as a producer/videographer in their project to document the special events at the 2010 Olympic winter games.
